“I am thrilled that I chose to start learning photography through McBains Intro to Photography course. Having Angie lead the photography instruction, and McBain/Jileane providing technical support so having different camera models in the class doesn't cause any issues or confusion is an incredibly smart way to run a class. I really appreciated that we didn't approach photography as something you can do 'right' or 'wrong', no matter what kind of photos you were taking as practice, or what you were aspiring to photograph, there was helpful discussion to go along with every photo shared.” W.K. Workshop Participant.

Angie is a talented and prolific photographer with an infectious enthusiasm for learning and creating. Her instructional style is accessible and fun, whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience. She’s a dedicated teacher that any budding photographer would be lucky to learn from. J.S. • I highly recommend taking this photography course with Angie and Jileane! Before I took this course, I knew only small bits and pieces on how to work my way around the camera. But when it came to the "3 big things" (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) I realized that I had a lot to learn! This course was so great as it broke it into smaller pieces so that the information wasn't overwhelming.

    — E.T.

I highly recommend this course! It was well organized, engaging and I walked away with much more confidence about using the manual settings of my camera. Angie's teaching style is approachable, incredibly supportive, and she answered every question with patience, grace and an ability to make things very understandable. I especially appreciated how much I learned from looking at other student's photos as well as Angie's. And a big shout out to Jileane at McBain Camera for bringing fantastic enthusiasm and technical support to each class!
